Batman Returns (1992)

This film still have some great scenes like the one Batman turned his batmobile and took advantage of the fire at the back of the car to blast a bad guy who loves spraying fire everywhere. Serve him right! This movie have still some dark feeling that only TIm BUrton can do. In Batman, there is also this similar dark feeling. Batman Returns introduction shows a baby being thrown into the sewage. 33 years later he became Batman's enemy The Penguin(Danny Devito). Then there's also Catwoman, which i think is an unnesscary character. without Catwoman, there would be more screen time for Batman and Penguin and more character development for the two. The introducton of Catwoman is very poor and really unnesscary. The Penguin's umbrallas can do special stuff like shooting bullets out of it. I felt that the joker is much more better than the Penguin. Towards the ending Tim Burton decides to entertain the viewers by putting lots of explosions and some fighting sequences. Michael Keaton acts well but the Penguin acting should be better. The score by DAnny Elfman is superb especally the End Credits. Overall....this movie is good but not as good as Batman.
